A Great Glowbal Grab

Great food is worth a great splurge.

But when you can get that same phenomenal meal at 25% off, it can taste that much better.

Well, the Glowbal Collection is offering just that for your lunch bill (food portion) until this Thursday, November 10th.

This is the perfect time to try out a top-grade steak at their newest venture, Black + Blue, or indulge in a personal favourite at Coast or the Italian Kitchen.

With seafood calling my name, I stopped in at Coast where I indulged in a decadent lobster flatbread with creamy avocado, roasted cherry tomatoes, vibrant, peppery yet sweet basil, and fried strips of onion. It comes in at just under $18, but with large chunks of fresh lobster covering it, this flatbread is worth every penny (especially at $13.50 with the discount).

The crab cake is chock full of Dungeness crab, and is two times the height of any crab cake I’ve ordered. This appetizer eats like a meal, but with a salad consisting of fennel and watercress, it remains light and refreshing.

I generally only order sushi at Japanese restaurants, but I would highly recommend the Fire Roll (avocado, cucumber and prawn inside a roll topped with spicy tuna that is a gorgeous shade of deep red).

The Glowbal Collection now offers 7 restaurants, each more impressive than the last. No matter which you choose to dine at, I can practically guarantee a fantastic experience worthy of a stamp of culinary royalty.
