Guilty Pleasure of the Week: Banana Bread

By now, you’ve all probably indulged in Erin Ireland’s signature banana bread. When you can’t make it into one of the cafes that sells her delectable creation, though, where can you go for this baked good?

If you happen to be in Burnaby, simply pop up the mountain and head into one of the Renaissance Coffee locations at Simon Fraser University. Their banana bread is more classic; think moist, straight-up bread, loaded with bananas as opposed to macadamia nuts and chocolate.

This snack is perfect for breakfast or your midday munchies – and if that guilty feeling kicks in, just remind yourself that you’re fulfilling your daily fruit quota.

As always, wishing you a stamp of culinary royalty in all of your dining endeavours! xx
